Lauer Construction is proud of the reputation we have built over the years. Superior craftsmanship, innovative design, and the highest quality building materials are just three of the reasons why Lauer is selected by customers over our competitors.

Repeat customers

We think of our customers as part of our family and we are honored to be considered by many as friends. Time and time again our customers express their delight at what a pleasant experience it was to have Lauer Construction build their home or complete their renovation project. Many of our customers return and ask us to build their vacation homes and homes for their children as their families grow and change.

Stable workforce

We maintain a diverse team of more than 40 skilled construction craftspeople supported by a professional administrative staff. We know our people and their skill sets, allowing us to match capabilities to project requirements. This approach to team building results in high productivity, quality workmanship, and value for our customers.

Skill and craftsmanship

From our carpenters to our stonemasons, to our framers and trimmers, we employ the best craftspeople in the industry. Lauer Construction crews are led by seasoned in-the-field supervisors who coordinate, monitor, and oversee the activities at each job location. Site supervisors work closely with the Project Managers to ensure materials arrive when needed and work proceeds without interruption.

Dependability

Lauer Construction has been in business for more than 35 years and has built an excellent reputation among building industry suppliers for integrity, honesty and reliability. We have established long-lasting relationships with our subcontractors and vendors, many of whom have worked with us since 1972.

Quality

The building standards of Lauer Construction exceed government regulations and guidelines. We use only quality materials and demand high quality workmanship from our team members. All of our subcontractors have proven themselves in the field and consistently measure up to our exacting standards to ensure customer satisfaction. We stand behind our work and that of our vendors.

Responsibility

Lauer Construction practices energy conservation and universal design building techniques. We have built homes with geothermal and solar panel systems, and renewable resources such as bamboo and cork flooring. Recently one of our homes and its geothermal HVAC system was featured by NBC in their “Going Green” segment.

Communications

At Lauer Construction customers appreciate the open communications our work style promotes. We offer our customers exclusive lists of recommended and proven resources and suppliers, construction guides, and idea galleries.

Creativity

Imagination and problem-solving is essential to custom home building. Lauer Construction architects, project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers excel at applying their knowledge of materials and building practices towards construction challenges and unique customer requests.

Flexibility

The architects at Lauer Construction are adept at accessible design and our team is sensitive to the needs of customers who are building a home for “aging in place.” We pride ourselves in being able to accommodate unique requirements requested by our customers. After all, Lauer Construction is in the business of building custom homes. Whether it’s the installation of an elevator, a built-in exercise pool, a laundry chute, an in-home office, a geothermal system, curved interior and exterior walls, or a golf-cart garage, we are willing and able to adapt our skills to customer project needs.

Management

We believe our success at Lauer Construction is due in part to the practice of employing the best people and investing in the best equipment in the industry. This allows us to closely manage and assign resources as they are needed on our building projects. We have a full fleet of work vehicles, heavy construction equipment, and a steady and reliable workforce. Lauer is fully licensed and insured and we require all our subcontractors to maintain insurance coverage.

Our administrative offices are staffed with friendly, experienced individuals who are available to help with the administrative aspects of the building project. Our office has several spacious and quiet conference rooms for planning and review meetings.
