Lauer Construction, Inc., is a certified LEED-Green Associate (Leadership in Engery and Environmental Design – Green Associates). The credential recognizes “excellence in green building practice and performance globally through its third-party certification services and professional credentials supporting market transformation”. Obtaining a LEED-Green Associates credential, which requires comprehensive coursework and successfully passing an examination, denotes a working knowledge of green design, construction, and operations. This knowledge can then be passed onto potential homeowners to make their homes more sustainable and energy efficient.

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) is the only association devoted solely to the remodeling industry. NARI is dedicated to providing its members with the best remodeling resources available in the profession.
Since 1942 the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has been the voice of the building industry. As a member of NAHB, Lauer keeps current with industry issues by receiving industry news, green building information and by attending NAHB trade show events. Lauer has been a member of NAHB since 1989.
The Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) was founded in 1950 and is a national association which represents all the specialized fields within the construction industry. As a member of ABC since 2002, Lauer has taken advantage of the numerous ABC programs offered in the areas of management, business development, and safety.
